Purple’s been a favorite color of brides recently! I can’t tell you how grateful we are to have met Jennifer & Dustin. We had the pleasure of capturing their beautiful Wedding at the amazing Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach. As usual, we love working with Holly from Simply Sweet Weddings. It a word…she’s sweet!

Once in a while you’ll meet one of those couples, corny as it may sound, were meant for each other. You can just tell when you watch the two of them together. Hello Friends! Wanted to make sure we shared  Michelle & Josh’s Newport Beach E Session with everyone. Our Session was the first chance I had to meet Josh in person, but I think we managed to hit it off pretty well. They’re a fantastic couple with a great sense of humor! You might be wondering who “Lou” is? Well, he’s that little guy standing there next to Michelle. It’s always interesting when pets come along to a shoot. Honestly, you never quite know what you’re going to get. We’ve unfortunately had some disasters with pets, but Lou, he did great! He’s a little attached to Michelle, but hey, can you blame the little guy!

Hello Friends! We recently got a new background and I was super eager to try it out. Vanessa and Charlie wanted to grab a few shots of them in their Wedding’s Best, so, I figured why not try out the background! This was the first time we had ever shot at B&G fully outfitted prior to the Wedding, but it was a lot fun! Kind of weird…no time crunch…no Coordinator…no crowds…fun, but kind of weird. Hello Friends! Wedding Season is really kicking into gear now, so, it’s time to start sharing. We recently had the pleasure of working with Kristen and Greg. Their Wedding was at one of our favorite places…Strawberry Farms. It’s really a hidden gem in Orange County. The beauty of shooting there…there’s countless spots you can go each and every time. Hello Friends! Engagement Sessions are always fun, especially when they’re at the happiest place on Earth…yup, Disneyland. I had an incredible afternoon with Jennifer and Brian. When you talk about down to Earth, they’re as down to Earth as you can get. The best thing about shooting at Disneyland…is shooting with a fantastic couple. Thank you guys for a great time!

Usually, E-Sessions run 3-4 hours, but on this day, I think we ended up spending around 6 hours together! I hope they didn’t get to sick of me.

Jennifer and Brian…thank you guys for being great sports. It was crazy busy there, but you guys are troopers! Thanks for hanging in there. See you soon.

Hello Friends! We’ve been blessed to be able to work with some of the nicest couples ever! Sarah and Chris are no exception. From the moment we met for our consultation, I think we hit it off. At heart, I’m a geek. I love talking cameras, computers, video games…pretty much anything electronic! Chris is a new Mac user, so, we had a good time  talking computers. Their Wedding was at the beautiful Tustin Ranch Country Club.

We use to only shoot with lighting for Portraits, but now I’ve been sold on using lighting for everything…details included! You tell me, don’t you think it adds quite a bit of contrast and drama to the image? Believe it or not, these detail images don’t have very much work done on them. A few tweaks here and there, and presto…done. Check out some more images from their beautiful day.

Hello Friends! Ah, home sweet home! Actually, I kind of wish I was still in Hawaii. Not that I don’t love being home, but it’s always hard to get back into the swing of things once you return from a vacation. The Family and I just returned from our first trip to Oahu. Actually, Mezzi’s been there before, but this was my first time. Now I know what everyone’s talking about! I’m sure you know, but, it’s absolutely beautiful there!

Hello Friends! What do you get when you mix IT & Pediatric Dentistry? Believe it or not, they mix really well! I’ll leave it up to you to guess who’s who. I spent a fantastic afternoon, slash, early Evening with Hazel and Duy. We spent the entire time talking IT and kids! The dork in me wants to spend the whole time talking with Duy about phones, computers, and pretty much anything that has a circuit boards. On the other hand, the Father in me kept asking Hazel questions about children’s teeth! Brides and Grooms are  a great source of free information.

Even though you’d think that IT and Pediatric Dentistry don’t go together, I’m here to tell you that they go together just as much as peas and carrots. Hazel and Duy did a awesome job all afternoon…check it out!
